Individual reports; versions and hardware may differ.
The Pocket Duo developer describes performance as roughly equal to the existing software and highlights open-source implementations, weekly updates and future Android versions as benefits. No benchmarks, build number or download were supplied; these are development expectations, not a verified release or update commitment.
A shared LineageOS hardware commit adds a gamepad display-focus preference with Free, Primary and Secondary choices, plus restoration after reboot on dual-screen devices. The Duo developer links it as part of their work. This confirms code development, not a released Pocket Duo firmware image or tested game compatibility.
Source ↗A developer reports that LineageOS work on the regular Pocket Duo is progressing and shares a photograph with the lock screen on the upper display and an app launcher on the lower display. They say release is approaching, but give no date, build number or download. The photograph does not establish game performance, sleep behaviour or a finished release.
Someone describing official LineageOS work for the Duo says it is separate from GammaOS, which they describe as a GSI using stock-ROM implementations. There is no released Duo LineageOS build, and no public build or source yet.
No Duo settings for this app yet.
Version and support notes
Builds for other Retroid devices are not interchangeable with Pocket Duo firmware. No Pocket Duo installation steps or download are provided.
