More detail
  • The app, its version and the comparison appear at 28, 32 and 47 seconds. The preferences are the reviewer’s own.
  • The Nova firmware build is unknown, and nothing here was tried on a Duo or Duo Lite. OdinTools is made for the AYN Odin 2, so a Nova result says nothing about Duo support.

Tested hardware: Retroid Pocket Nova

The video description now links Nova Display Calibration v1.0.2, released after the video. It is a separate tool from OdinTools and supports only one specific Nova firmware and panel.

The video may have used a different version from the one linked.

More detail
  • Version 1.0.2 was published on 2026-09-22, after the video went up on 2026-08-01. The description was last read on 2026-11-01.
  • The project requires a 100% system saturation baseline and has restore steps before updating or uninstalling.
  • It covers SDR on one tested Nova setup, and other handhelds and firmware are unsupported. Neither source confirms a Retroid OTA fix.
